A note on the name: several unrelated companies worldwide use a similar name — Pearl Solar in South Africa and Pearl Energy Solution in Pakistan among them. We are not connected to any of them. The Pearl Solar Energy you are reading about is a Thai company registered in Phuket, tax ID 0835569012659, operating only in Thailand.

Who actually does the work

We are deliberately a small company, because that structure means the person who inspects your roof and the person accountable for the result are the same person.

Mr Wasin Ngansathil — Managing Director

Handles site surveys, system design and sizing calculations based on how your building actually consumes electricity, not on a generic rule of thumb. He is the person you speak to from the first visit through to handover. The person who surveys your roof is the person who goes up on it — not a salesperson who quotes and then passes you to a different crew.

Mrs Orapin Surapanich — Authorised Director

Joint authorised director, responsible for the company's finances and administration. Contracts and disbursements require both directors' signatures — an internal control we put in place on the day the company was registered.

Our in-house crew

All installation work is carried out by our own crew. We do not subcontract to third-party installers, which is why we are comfortable offering a 3-year workmanship warranty — if something goes wrong, the same team that installed it comes back to fix it, with no argument about whose responsibility it was.

Projects already handed over

Every photograph on this website was taken on our own sites. None of them are stock images or manufacturer marketing shots. See them all on our Our Work page.

Equipment we install

We state the actual brand and model in every quotation, and we only specify brands with an official distributor in Thailand — so that warranty claims and spare parts are real options on the day you need them, not a dead end. Full specifications and datasheets are on our Equipment page.

  • Panels — LONGi Hi-MO, 25-year performance warranty
  • On-grid inverters — Huawei SUN2000, with historical production data in the app
  • Hybrid inverters — Deye, for properties that need backup power during outages
  • Batteries — LVTOPSUN and other LiFePO₄ brands with after-sales support in Thailand

How we work

  1. Free site survey before any quotation — we look at the roof, orientation, shading and your past electricity bills. We do not give fixed prices sight-unseen, because those quotes usually end in variation orders later.
  2. Itemised written quotation — system size, equipment models, installation cost and terms listed separately, in Thai baht, in English if you prefer. Not a single lump sum you cannot check.
  3. Procurement and delivery to site
  4. Installation, electrical work, testing and handover — by our own crew
  5. PEA permit handled for you — Phuket and the Andaman coast fall under the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). Grid-connected systems must be permitted and synchronised properly; we handle that paperwork. Details on our solar permits guide.
  6. Warranty and ongoing care — 3-year workmanship warranty, plus inspection and panel-cleaning service

Why we stay in Phuket and the Andaman coast

Solar is not a fit-and-forget product. If an inverter throws an error in month 14, you want a team that can drive over the same day — not one waiting for a flight from Bangkok. Limiting our service area is precisely what makes our warranty meaningful.

Phuket's coastal climate also has conditions that non-local teams routinely underestimate: salt-laden air that corrodes mounting hardware, six months of heavy rain, and strong monsoon winds. We design for all of that from the start.
