This restaurant in the middle of Patong runs from midday well into the night, and most of its bill comes from air-conditioning and a kitchen that barely stops. The constraint was the roof: a commercial metal-sheet roof shared along a row of shophouses, with limited clear area and the building's existing condenser units to work around. We laid 36 LONGi 645 W modules in two long rows following the roof line, mounted on aluminium rails with every penetration sealed, then ran the cabling in conduit to a separate plant room. The system is a 20 kW three-phase Deye hybrid with 32 kWh of battery storage, controlled through an on/off-grid hybrid combiner with automatic transfer, and the battery side sits behind its own breaker for safe maintenance. When the grid drops, the restaurant's critical circuits keep running immediately — no waiting for a generator to start.
