Dyness Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, China. The company focuses specifically on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) storage for residential and light commercial use, rather than making batteries as a sideline to another product range. Its own company profile, as of the end of 2025, claims more than 1,000,000 units shipped across 100-plus countries, 3 GWh of annual production capacity across three factories, EUPD Research “Top Brand Storage” awards for 2025 in Romania, Poland and the UK, and an iF Design Award in 2024. Those figures come from the manufacturer and we found no independent research house confirming them, so we will not tell you Dyness ranks number X globally — judge it on the datasheets and the warranty instead. What is verifiable is that Dyness publishes a Southeast Asia specific datasheet for the Powerbox Pro, which tells you the region is served on purpose and not as a grey import.

The manufacturer's warranty documents — Powerbox Pro V2.0-202308 for the EU and the Tower 202308 edition for North America — set the product warranty at seven years from the warranty start date, extendable to ten years only after you register the unit on the official Dyness website and the registration is approved. A separate performance warranty guarantees 70% of nominal energy for ten years or until a minimum energy throughput is reached, whichever comes first: 28.59 MWh for the Powerbox Pro, 29.54 MWh for the Tower T10-US and 39.65 MWh for the Tower T14-US, which corresponds to roughly one full cycle per day. The clock starts at completed installation or 180 days after the unit ships from the factory, whichever is earlier, and cover falls to five years if the battery runs without its communication cable connected or is used in a vehicle, boat or camper. One caveat we will not paper over: we found no Southeast Asia or Thailand-specific warranty document, so the terms enforced locally may differ. We confirm them in writing with the Thai importer before quoting.
Why we use Dyness in Phuket
Three things quietly destroy electrical equipment on this island: salt-laden air off the Andaman, year-round heat that never lets an enclosure cool down, and the outages that arrive with the monsoon. That makes the mounting position, not the kWh figure, the first decision. The Powerbox Pro is rated IP65 and discharges up to 55°C, so it can genuinely sit outdoors under an eave on a beachfront property. The Tower stacks are only IP54 with a narrower -10 to 50°C discharge window, so we place them in a plant room or a fully covered space, never on an exposed wall. For a pool villa with pumps and multiple air-conditioning units, or a boutique resort on three-phase supply, a hybrid with battery backup keeps the essential circuits alive when the grid drops, and we handle the PEA permits for the grid connection on your behalf.
Summary
Dyness is a straightforward LiFePO₄ option with published specifications and, unusually, a model-by-model inverter compatibility list you can actually check.
