What is the Tower T14?
- Capacity: 14.21 kWh total, 13.499 kWh usable at the recommended 95% DoD, from four HV9637 modules
- System voltage: 384 V (336–432 V operating) — higher than the T10, reducing system current further
- Continuous charge/discharge power: up to 8.52 kW (at 0.6C when communicating with the inverter), about 33% above the T10
- Cycle life: ≥6,000 cycles (tested at 0.2C, 25°C, 95% DoD), IP54 protection
- Certification: UL1973, IEC62619, IEC63056, IEC62477, IEC62040, CE-EMC, CE-RED, UKCA, UN38.3, VDE2510-50 and others
The Dyness Tower T14 is the largest Tower-series battery we install, building 14.21 kWh from four HV9637 modules at 384 V. The manufacturer states usable capacity directly at 13.499 kWh, and continuous power reaches 8.52 kW — about a third more than the T10 — so it carries heavier backup loads for longer in large homes and small businesses.
Tower T14 or T10 — which should you choose?
Both use the same HV9637 modules; the difference is how many are stacked. The T10 uses three for 288 V and 10.127 kWh usable; the T14 uses four for 384 V and 13.499 kWh usable. The decision rests on two things. First, backup capacity: to carry bedroom aircon, lighting, a refrigerator and a water pump overnight, the T10 usually suffices; to carry several air-conditioners or most of the house, the T14 is the better match. Second, continuous power: 8.52 kW versus 6.39 kW, which matters when peak backup demand is high. One item to verify before ordering: inverter battery-voltage windows. The T14 operates at 336–432 V and the T10 at 252–324 V; some inverters support only one of those ranges, so the compatibility documents on both sides must be checked.
Highlights from the datasheet
- Usable capacity stated directly at 13.499 kWh: precise sizing without deriving figures yourself
- 8.52 kW continuous power: roughly 33% above the T10, supporting heavier backup loads
- 384 V system voltage: low system current, keeping cabling small and losses down on long runs
- 95% recommended DoD: nearly all purchased capacity is usable
- ≥6,000 cycles: tested at 95% DoD, a demanding condition
- Comprehensive certification: UL1973, IEC62619, IEC63056, IEC62477, IEC62040, CE, UKCA, UN38.3, VDE2510-50 — useful where documentation must be submitted to authorities or insurers
- Expandable to 12 units: the series spans 7.1–255.72 kWh for commercial applications

Why this model suits Phuket
- Villas and large homes: 13.5 kWh usable carries several circuits through the night
- Rental villas: 8.52 kW covers multiple bedroom air-conditioners at once, so guests barely register an outage
- 🔸 IP54 requires cover: fine against dust and splashes, but not driven rain during the Phuket wet season
- Floor and access must be checked: 1.1 m tall and 187 kg, requiring a suitable floor and delivery route
Who it suits
- Villas and large homes: backing up several circuits overnight
- Small businesses: clinics, restaurants or offices needing more than 6 kW of continuous backup
- High-voltage hybrids supporting 336–432 V: compatibility must be confirmed before ordering
- Projects requiring certification paperwork: UL1973, IEC and CE documentation available for authorities or insurers
- Installations planning expansion: up to 12 units in parallel within the series
Summary
The Dyness Tower T14 delivers 13.499 kWh usable at 384 V with 8.52 kW continuous output, suiting Phuket villas and large homes backing up several circuits overnight, or small businesses that cannot stop. Usable capacity is stated outright, certification is comprehensive, and high-voltage architecture keeps system current low. Verify that the inverter supports the 336–432 V window, and install under cover given the IP54 rating.
