Pylontech Force H2 — High-Voltage Battery, 7.1–14.2 kWh, 2–4 Stacked Modules, IP55

⚡ Quick answer

What is the Force-H2 (โมดูล FH9637M + คอนโทรลเลอร์ FC0500M-40S)?

  • System capacity: 7.10 / 10.65 / 14.20 kWh with 2 / 3 / 4 stacked modules of 3.552 kWh each
  • System voltage: 192 / 288 / 384 VDC — high-voltage architecture with far lower current than 48 V at equal power
  • Current: 18.5 A working (7.4 A standard), 40 A peak, 96% round-trip efficiency
  • IP55 rating: dust protected and resistant to water jets, allowing more installation flexibility than IP20 rack batteries
  • Life and warranty: 5,000 cycles, 15+ year design life, 10-year warranty at no less than 60% remaining capacity

The Pylontech Force H2 is a floor-standing high-voltage lithium battery system built by stacking 3.552 kWh modules — two, three or four of them for 7.10, 10.65 or 14.20 kWh. The key difference from 48 V products like the US5000 is system voltage: 192–384 VDC means far lower current at the same power, so cabling is smaller, losses are lower and heat build-up is reduced. It pairs with high-voltage hybrid inverters such as the Deye SG01HP3 family and Solis H-series.

High-voltage versus 48 V batteries — which should you choose?

The difference comes down to basic electrical arithmetic: power equals voltage times current. Delivering 10,000 W from a 48 V battery requires roughly 200 A, which demands heavy copper and generates significant heat. At 384 V the same power needs only about 26 A, so cable sizes drop sharply, installation cost falls, and resistive losses — which scale with the square of current — fall further still. The trade-off is that high-voltage batteries must be matched to inverters designed for that range. Per the manufacturer's documentation, the Force H2 works with Deye/Sunsynk SUN-5~25K-SG01HP3-EU/AU and SUN-29.9~50K-SG01HP3-EU/AU over CAN, and with Solis RHI-3P-HVES-5G and S6-EH3P series units — with specified firmware versions on both the inverter and the battery controller. The other practical difference from 48 V rack products is the IP55 rating, which allows more installation flexibility, though in Phuket we still specify a sheltered, ventilated location.

Highlights from the datasheet

  • 192–384 VDC architecture: much lower system current than 48 V, meaning thinner cable, lower losses and less heat
  • 2–4 stackable modules: choose 7.10, 10.65 or 14.20 kWh, with room to add modules later
  • IP55 protection: dust protected and water-jet resistant, more flexible on siting than IP20 rack batteries
  • 96% round-trip efficiency: little energy lost between charging and discharging
  • 95% depth of discharge: nearly all purchased capacity is usable, unlike lead-acid where roughly half is practical
  • 5,000 cycles, 15+ year design life: matched to daily charge-discharge duty across a solar system's lifetime
  • 10-year warranty: no less than 60% of nominal energy remaining, per the Force H family warranty document

Why this model suits Phuket

  • Villas with long cable runs: high-voltage architecture reduces conductor size and losses, which matters when the battery sits far from the inverter
  • IP55 gives siting flexibility: a covered garage or sheltered semi-open area is workable, though we still specify shade and protection from driven rain
  • Three-phase homes and businesses: pairs with three-phase high-voltage hybrids like the Deye SG01HP3, a combination we install regularly on villa and commercial work
  • Year-round humidity: requires a ventilated location and periodic terminal inspection, which we include in our maintenance plans

Who it suits

  • Large homes and pool villas: needing 7–14 kWh alongside a three-phase supply
  • Systems using high-voltage hybrid inverters: Deye SG01HP3 or Solis S6-EH3P series
  • Installations with long battery-to-inverter runs: where high voltage reduces cable cost and losses
  • Small to medium businesses: clinics, restaurants or offices backing up several kilowatts
  • Projects wanting a longer documented warranty: 10 years at 60% remaining capacity

Summary

The Pylontech Force H2 is a floor-standing high-voltage battery scalable from 7.10 to 14.20 kWh, suited to larger Phuket homes, pool villas and businesses running high-voltage hybrid inverters. Lower system current means smaller cable and lower losses, IP55 gives more siting flexibility than rack batteries, and the warranty runs ten years. The caveat is compatibility: it must be matched to an inverter designed for this voltage range, with firmware versions verified before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What are the key specifications of the Pylontech Force H2?

A high-voltage LFP battery system of 7.10 / 10.65 / 14.20 kWh using 2 / 3 / 4 stacked 3.552 kWh modules, at 192 / 288 / 384 VDC. Working current 18.5 A with 40 A peak, 95% depth of discharge, 96% round-trip efficiency, 5,000 cycles, IP55 protection, CANBUS/Modbus RTU communication, weights of 82 / 117 / 152 kg, and a 10-year warranty at 60% remaining capacity.

Should I choose high-voltage or 48 V storage?

High voltage suits higher-power systems and long cable runs, because system current is far lower — smaller cable, lower losses. 48 V suits smaller systems wanting module-by-module expansion and a wider choice of inverters. Critically, the two are not interchangeable: the battery type must be matched to the inverter at design stage.

Which inverters is it compatible with?

Per the manufacturer's compatibility document: Deye/Sunsynk SUN-5~25K-SG01HP3-EU/AU and SUN-29.9~50K-SG01HP3-EU/AU over CAN, requiring inverter firmware 2001-X018 and battery controller firmware V1.7 or later; plus Solis RHI-3P-HVES-5G series, S6-EH3P(5-10)K-H-EU, S6-EH1P(3.8-11.4)K-H-US, S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H and S6-EH3P(29.9-50)K-H. The referenced document does not list Growatt for high-voltage systems.

Does IP55 mean I can install it outdoors?

IP55 gives good dust protection and resistance to water jets, but in Phuket's heavy rain and salt air we still specify a sheltered, roofed and ventilated location. That extends service life and reduces load on the thermal management system.

How long will 14.2 kWh run my backup loads?

It depends on the load. Backing up 2 kW gives roughly 6–7 hours allowing for 95% DoD and 96% efficiency; backing up only essential circuits at around 1 kW gives well over ten hours. We size storage from the loads you actually want to protect before quoting.
