Second, built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and USB 2.0 make status monitoring and firmware updates straightforward. Usable capacity is 4,864 Wh at 95% DoD, expandable to 20 units for 102.4 kWh.
How does the Pelio-L differ from the US5000, and which should you pick?
Both are low-voltage LiFePO4 batteries in the same 48 V ESS group and work with the same inverter families. Three differences drive the choice. Protection rating: the US5000 is IP20 and must be indoors; the Pelio-L is IP65 when installed per the manual, opening up locations in homes without a suitable dry room. Form factor: the US5000 is a rack module needing an enclosure or shelf, while the Pelio-L is a self-contained floor unit ready to place. Communications: the Pelio-L adds Wi-Fi and USB to the usual RS485 and CAN. One constraint is easy to overlook and important: the Pelio-L must not be paralleled with Pylontech US or UP series or other 48 V families. If a property already has US5000 units and needs more capacity, that expansion must also be US5000 — mixing families is not permitted.
